What is Spindle Bobbins Crash Protection?

Offering protection to the front wheel spindle, lower front forks and brake calipers, EP spindle bobbins for the Ducati are discreet yet strong. The black bobbins sit snugly either side of the front spindle, held in place by a rolled-thread spindle rod. At the motorcycle’s rear, the spindle bobbin projects from the wheel offering protection to the swingarm. An anodised red hub stop secure the stainless steel rod in place on the exhaust side. The durable materials of injection-moulded nylon and aluminium hope to be first to receive impact should an incident occur.
